My 2009 Reading List
Changing my reading pattern up for this year. Usually I read whatever catches my eye but this year I’m creating an intentional reading plan designed to help grow me in specific areas.
There are bound to be exceptions throughout the year, but this pretty much tells the story of the knowledge that will be dropped in my mind. There are even a few re-reads. Look it over and let me know any books on this list that you’ve read and what you liked/disliked about them. Thanks.

Man… if you read all that in one year… You are da’ man!!! I will do good to get through my nine books… and one is an audio book.
I’m a nerd. What can I say?
I know people who read hundreds of books a year who would think this is light. I’m going for about a book a week (give or take).
At least you’re reading nine. So many people don’t take the time to read at all so big ups to you.
a girl in my youth group came on a sunday morning with a book… she was there about an hour early…
before the service started she came up to me and said she finished that book… that she started when she got there. granted it was like 130 pages… still that would take me 4 days.
i think i have a rare disorder called ICSDARFLT5M (i can’t sit down and read for longer than 5 minutes).
@blake – yeah, i know freaks like that too. when it comes to reading (and life) you have to run your own race.
excellent list, jason! i am going to post mine at some point in the near future and you’ll see a lot of overlaps with yours.
@Jay – Great minds….
That is quite a reading list – I think I should set myself a goal of reading just one book from that list! Or the goal of just one of my unread books from my bookshelf! Hmm,
Screwtape Letters is definitely top 5 CS Lewis books.. lol maybe top 3. Definitely one of my favorites.
@Kaleb – What’s up my man? You gotta love Screwtape. It’s been a while since I cracked it open and thought this year would be a good year to do so.
I’m reading The Prodigal God right now by Tim Keller. It’s quite good!
@ Jesse- Hey dude! I’ve heard Keller teach on it and am quite excited to read it. Thanks for the comment. Hopefully we can connect sometime.
