Enter the Christmas Story
What if God became a man and entered our story?
He did and his name is Jesus.
This Christmas, we celebrate more than the birth of an “8 lb., 6 oz., baby Jesus in his golden fleece diapers.” We remember that God lived and dwelt among us. Set an example for us. Sacrificed himself for us. Rose from death to free us. All because he loves us.
In Jesus, we don’t have a God who doesn’t understand what it’s like to be human. We have a God who got off of his throne, entered our mess, rescued us, and gave us the greatest gift imaginable: himself.
May we follow his example and enter the stories around us. Go the extra mile with that difficult family member. Connect with a long, lost friend. Share with a total stranger.
Be like Jesus this Christmas.
